M Core starts development of M Park Galați, the city’s first retail park and a major commercial landmark for South-Eastern Romania

M Core, one of the most active retail park developers in Romania, continues expanding its national network with a flagship project: M Park Galați, the city’s first retail park. This investment is set to redefine the shopping experience for the entire region.
The project will complement the existing retail offer and significantly transform Galați's commercial landscape, setting a new benchmark for accessibility, diversity, and quality.
Construction will begin shortly on a c.100,000 sqm plot acquired in December 2024, for which the PUZ has already been approved. The new development will feature approximately. 30,000 sqm of built area, hosting a curated mix of international and local retailers and notable premieres for the local market in Galați, including the city’s first Leroy Merlin store.
Beyond retail, M Park Galați will incorporate a modern food court, complemented by drive-thru restaurants designed to meet contemporary consumer preferences. The project will also feature electric vehicle charging stations, aligning with M Core’s ESG commitments. Its excellent location and accessibility make it a convenient destination for Galați residents and people across the wider region.
The inauguration is scheduled for Q4 2026, when Galați will host a landmark commercial destination, developed to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, and community focus.
