M Core welcomes Character.com to M Cwmbran

M Core is pleased to have welcomed leading clothing and accessories retailer Character.com to M Cwmbran, further strengthening the shopping centre’s diverse retail offering.
Character.com, known for its extensive range of high-quality character-branded products, from childrenswear and adult clothing to homeware, toys, and games has signed a five-year lease on a 5,196 sq ft unit at the South Wales shopping destination.
The new store, located in Unit 9, The Mall, marks the brand’s fifth location, reinforcing its continued expansion in the UK. Character.com hosted a launch party at its M Cwmbran store on Saturday 12th April.
The signing follows an exceptionally strong 2024 for M Cwmbran, which welcomed 16 new tenants, including major names such as Dunelm, The Range, and Cards Direct. The influx of brands has not only enhanced the centre’s retail mix but has also driven a 7.36% increase in footfall year-on-year, with 22.2 million visitors passing through its doors in 2024.
